In a method of applying and preferably at the same time sealing information, data images and the like on cards of information carriers such as credit cards, identity cards, pass cards and the like, which consist of a PVC layered laminate, it is proposed to print the required data and/or images directly on one of the PVC laminate layers by means of a video printer, it also being possible for the PVC layer to be a thin transparent PVC film onto which printing is carried out mirror-invertedly and which is subsequently reversed when laid on a base card and welded to the latter. <IMAGE> |
