<p>PURPOSE:To improve moisture resistance, to protect an element and to improve reliability by providing a metal case having flexibility in a polarizing direction around the side face of a sintered laminated layer covering a thermally shrinked tube, and a metal system adhered to the upper and lower faces of the case for sealing the case. CONSTITUTION:Insulating layers 41-4n-1 are alternately formed at the ends, side faces of inner electrode conductors 21-2n-l exposed with a prismatic sintered laminated layer, connected with leads 6a, 6b electrically connected to a pair of outer electrode conductors 5a, 5b, then covered with a thermally shrinkable tube, heated and brought into close contact therewith. Then, after a pair of outer terminals 9a, 9b in which hermetic seals 15a, 15b are formed on a disclike stem 8 are electrically connected to the leads 6a, 6b, the metal stem 8 surrounding a sintered laminated layer 3 on the upper and lower faces thereof and a metal material equivalent to the stem 8 are drawn in a cylindrical shape closed at one side end, the bottom of a metal case 11 is brought into contact therewith through adhesive 12 to weld the contact part 11b and sealed.
