PURPOSE:To manufacture a titled steel plate which is excellent in both watt loss and magnetic flux density, by hot-rolling electromagnetic steel of ultralow carbon content containing a specific quantity of Si which has reduced S, and after that, annealing it, and subsequently, cold-rolling it, and after that, annealing it at a high temperature for a short time, performing skin pass rolling, and after that, straightening and annealing it. CONSTITUTION:Electromagnetic steel containing <=0.005% C, 0.3-2.0% Si, <= 0.010% S, <=0.080% P, and >=0.15% Al, which has been manufactured by continuous casting is hot-rolled, and after that, is hot-rolled at a temperature of >=800 deg.C and is annealed. Subsequently, it is cold-rolled, its crystal grains are enlarged by annealing it at a high temperature of >=800 deg.C for a short time within 2 minutes, watt loss is reduced without causing internal oxidation, etc., and its magnetic flux density is elevated. Subsequently, its magnetic characteristics are elevated by performing skin pass rolling, executing its punch-working or shear-working to a prescribed shape, and after that, straightening and annealing it, and also growing the crystal grains. |
