The electrical connector pin is produced as a push fit element in a plate or circuit board (11) and provides a connection for the fixing plate of a component (12). The connector is a metal pressing (10) and has a cylindrical profile. The lower section of the connector is formed with four prongs, three of which (24,25) are cranked, to applied a side load against the holes in the circuit board.
