DEVICE FOR THE COMBUSTION OF OXIDIZABLE SUBSTANCES IN A CARRIER GAS

An after-burner is proposed for the combustion of oxidizable substances in a carrier gas in which the carrier gas is fed through heat exchanger tubes which are curved outwards. The carrier gas first flows through an annular chamber which provides pre-heating and evaporates any condensation.
