A bottle crate moulded from plastics material with a lattice bottom (5), side walls and end walls has in at least one of the side walls an opening (8, 9) largely of lesser height (H) than the bottles (14). An upper edge member (10, 11) has at least one notch or similar (15), opening downwards, at which point the height of the opening (measurement H') more or less equals the height (h) of the bottles (14), thus facilitating removal of the bottles (14) through the opening (8, 9). <IMAGE> |
