<p>PURPOSE:To drastically shorten the time required for production of the color filters by forming colored pattern layers on an electrophotographic sensitive body by repetition of stages for electrostatic charging, exposing, developing, drying, etc., then bringing a transparent substrate coated with a photosetting adhesive agent and the colored layers into tight contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:A conductive base 1 is preferably a film on which a metallic thin film 2 consisting of aluminum, etc., is deposited by evaporation. A photosensitive body 3 consisting of a charge transfer layer 4 and a charge generating layer 5 thereon is subjected to the electrostatic charging and exposing and is thereby formed with electrostatic latent images. The photosensitive body is then immersed into a developing soln. 7 prepd. by dispersing colored resins into a carrier liquid to develop the desired colored layer to form, for example, a red filter 9R. The green filter 9G and blue filter 9B are then successively formed in the similar manner. The photosetting adhesive agent 11 is then applied on the transparent substrate 10 and the colored layers are transferred onto the transparent substrate 10 by bringing the adhesive agent 11 layer 11 and the colored filter layers into tight contact with each other and irradiating the layers with light. The required time is drastically shortened as compared with a dyeing method by a photolithography stage and a colored resin method.</p> |
