<p>PURPOSE:To easily and quickly point the input coordinates by pointing directly a desired coordinate position via a position pointing means on a display screen which is obtained by putting a transparent coordinate input tablet device on the display screen of a display device. CONSTITUTION:A tablet 12 contains the transparent electrodes arranged in a grid form on a transparent glass panel, and the voltage is successively applied to each electrode via a tablet control part 26. The position pointed by a stylus pen 13 is detected based on the electrostatic induction voltage produced between the pen 13 and the electrode buried at the position pointed by the pen 13 and the voltage detecting timing. Then a cursor 35 showing the position pointed by the pen 13 is displayed in a work area 31, and the cursor 35 is moved to a scroll area 32 with operation of the pen 13. Thus the corresponding control is carried out when the switch of the pen 13 is turned on. As a result, a desired coordinate position can be directly pointed on a display screen and the selection of menus, etc., can be easily and quickly performed.</p> |
