<p>PURPOSE:To discriminate quickly and with high accuracy the kind of a vehicle by discriminating the king of the vehicle by a fuzzy inference by using data related to a peak number ratio of an inductance rate-of-change of a buried loop coil and a peak position. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic means EM executes an operation of an inductance rate-of-change L/L shown by (L'-L)/L= L/L from an inductance L of a loop coil at the time when the vehicle of a vehicle sensor SK buried under the ground of a road does not exist, and an inductance L' which follows the lapse of a passing time T of the loop coil at the time when a vehicle passes through, and also, derives a peak position alpha by calculating a peak number ratio H = n/T of a peak number (n) of the inductance rate-of-change and a loop coil passing time T of the vehicle concerned from a result of operation. Subsequently, a fuzzy processing means FSM uses data given from a vehicle data output means SS, executes a fuzzy inference in accordance with plural kinds of fuzzy rules which are stored, and outputs a result of its inference as car kind discrimination data.</p> |
