PURPOSE:To optionally increase the number of picture elements in horizontal and vertical directions and to make an image fine by providing four saw-tooth- wave generators which horizontally and vertically deflect scanning lines in horizontal and vertical directions respectively and switching the corresponding generator so that output therefrom may be inputted in a display device. CONSTITUTION:As to the direction of the scanning line, the scanning line in the vertical direction is obtained in addition to the usual scanning line in the horizontal direction. Namely, in addition to the respective 1st and 2nd saw-tooth- wave generators 1 and 2 for generating the horizontally deflected saw-tooth- wave 102 and the vertically deflected saw-tooth-wave 104 of the horizontal scanning line, the respective 3rd and 4th saw-tooth-wave generators 4 and 5 for generating the horizontally deflected saw-tooth-wave 106 and the vertically deflected saw-tooth-wave 108 of the vertical scanning line are provided. The output from the respective generators 1, 2, 4 and 5 is synchronously switched and given to the scanning line display device as horizontal deflection input and vertical deflection input. Since the number of picture elements of the respective scanning lines is increased if necessary, the image is made fine. |
