PURPOSE:To compensate a compression length, which is generated with the circular-arc arrangement of a vibrator, and to prepare a clear diagnostic picture by forming a working groove by executing dicing work to the back side of a first backing material. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric plate 40 is adhered to the surface of a first backing material 5 and a coupling body 8 is formed. Then, the working groove 84 with an equal pitch is formed on a surface 81 by using a dicing saw. In the back surface 82 side of the coupling body 8, the working groove 85 of almost t2 depth is also formed. From both directions of the front and back sides, the working grooves 84 and 85 are deviated in a longitudinal direction and made alternative. The back surface 82 side of this coupling body 8 is adhered to the circular arc surface 61 of a second backing material 6 which is made by an Rb curvature radius in advance. A compression length delta to generate compressing operation in the back surface 82 side is made equal with the total sumSIGMAw of width (w) for the working groove 85 in the back surface 82 side when the coupling body 8 is set in the state of a circular arc. Even when the back surface side of the coupling body is adhered to the circular arc surface of the second backing material, such a part is not compressed and the reaction is not generated in a bending direction. |
