PURPOSE:To improve reliability of anti-skid control by judging that a car runs on a low mu road, based on the fluid-pressure of a wheel cylinder and the amount of operation of a brake pedal, thereby giving engine torque to a wheel after a specified time elapsed. CONSTITUTION:When a master cylinder 3 operates in accordance with the amount of operation of a brake pedal 2 to supply fluid-pressure to a wheel cylinder 5 of a wheel 4 and the wheel is braked, an anti-skid control unit 1 operates a fluid-pressure control unit 7 to increase or decrease the fluid-pressure when the wheel speed detected by a sensor 6 is decreased to a specified value. In this case, when a switch 8 for detecting the lowering of the fluid-pressure of the wheel cylinder 5 and a switch 9 for detecting the amount of operation of the brake pedal 2 are turned ON, and an operation signal from the unit 1 is outputted, it is judged that a car runs on a low mu road. After a specified time elapsed, EGI unit 10 operates an injector 11 to give engine torque to the wheel 4.
