<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of bacteria and foreign matter, such as dust, deep into the hole part of the artificial tooth root during the production and storage of the tooth root by packing a material which is absorbed or dissolved in a living body into the hole part or disposing the above-mentioned material to cover the aperture of the hole part. CONSTITUTION:The artificial tooth root 20 consists of an insert part 21 to be inserted into the alveolar bone and i supporting part 22 which supports an artificial crown, etc. The insert part 21 is formed with the many hole parts 23... by sticking spherical titanium metal powder to the surface of a core material and sintering the powder. The material 24 which is absorbed or dissolved in the living body is packed into the hole parts 23.... Such material 24 is exemplified by, for example, hydroxyapatite, chitin, and bioglass, etc. The dental treatment is executed by first disinfecting and cleaning the surface of the insert part 21, then inserting the artificial tooth root into the alveolar bone of a patient.</p> |
