PURPOSE:To enhance an accuracy by employing a print FG generator as a FG generator for detecting the rotation of a drum. CONSTITUTION:A rotor controller used for a drum servo of a VTR has a CPU 1 as control means, a drum phase measuring unit 13, etc., and a drum FG generator, a PG generator. A frequency divider 26 for driving FG signal 37 in frequency, and resetting with a PG signal 38 is provided. As a result, the phase difference between a reference signal generator 8 and the divider 26 is measured, and speed data is obtained from the difference of the continuous phase difference data. |
