<p>PURPOSE:To reproduce an original with a large size such as an inputted paper size by providing a coordinate read device to each moving section in X and Y directions. CONSTITUTION:A rail 10 in the X axis direction is provided with a moving section 30 to read a coordinate in the X axis direction of an original and an encoder is provided at the moving section 30. A moving section 40 to read the coordinate in the Y axis of the original is provided on the rail 12 in the Y axis direction and an encoder pulse counter for the moving sections 30, 40 and the encoder are provided at the moving section 40. The moving quantity in each direction of the X and Y axes is obtained by the count number of the encoder pulse and the position coordinate of the original read at present is obtained accurately to make it coincident with the size of read range. Moreover, a device to fix the movement is provided at the moving sections 30, 40 and a lever 50 giving a command to be fixed is provided.</p> |
