<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of each part by forming a protective member from a material having elastic modulus higher than that of the peripheral part in a medium main body and constituting the same in a shape including electronic parts on the inside. CONSTITUTION:A protective member 14 is composed of stainless steel having elastic modulus higher than that of the silicone elastic member and polyester of both of an adhesive 26 and a cover member 28 and formed into a measure- shape so as no to be bent against external force ready to curve the main body of an IC card in the direction shown by an arrow M. That is, the measure- shaped protective member 14 is arranged so that the side walls thereof become almost parallel relation to the external force in the direction shown by the arrow M and, therefore, even when the external force is applied in the direction shown by the arrow M, said protective member 14 is not bent. As a result, the bending of the main body of the IC card by the external force in the direction shown by the arrow M is obstructed by the protective member 14 and does not reach the electronic part 12 included in the protective member 14. Therefore, the electronic part 12 is prevented from crack and damage.</p> |
