This fishing rod comprises one or more retractable rings 3b for guiding the line, which are mounted hinged on supports 6-7 attached at the end of certain elements of this rod. Each of these rings 3b is integral with, or coupled to, a moving control member 10 arranged facing the element 1c of the rod which is mounted so as to slide inside the element 1b carrying this ring. The arrangement is such that during its retraction, the internal element 1c comes to act on this moving member 10 so that the latter causes pivoting of the corresponding ring 3b into its retracted position, whereas extending of this same internal element 1c causes or allows movement of the moving control member 10 in the opposite direction, in order to cause the corresponding ring 3b to be lifted into its working position. A further subject of the invention is an accessory intended to be fitted to a fishing rod of telescopic type and which consists of a tilting ring device such as described hereinabove. <IMAGE>
