A fastening or suspension device, made of metal or plastic material, to be engaged in a rectangular opening in an article, is of inverted U-shape. The two side legs have on the shortened free ends an outward claw. A U-shaped punch of the top face produces a tongue which can be depressed to keep the claws in position. A notch across the top webs helps to press the ends of the legs together to slip the claws in the opening. |
