The casing according to the present invention is formed of two plates 1, 1' with an L-shaped profile joined so as to form a hollow prismatic rectangular body the end face of which is formed by a sliding end face so that sets of different lengths can be accommodated in this casing. Series of frustoconical holes 5 are formed in the upper and lower walls of the casing and corresponding series of holes 8 are formed in the upper and lower faces of the sliding end face 6 which is assembled with the aid of screws to its upper and lower walls. The distance between the plane defined by the base of the holes 5 and the plane defined by the tops of the holes 8 is greater than the pitch of the screws. <IMAGE>
