The device according to the invention involves a plurality of cartridges 13 each containing a poster 21 held rolled up under the effect of elastic means, a closed-loop conveyor 10, 11 passing opposite a presentation area, supports 12, 12' distributed along the conveyor, means making it possible to provide a disconnectable fixing for the cartridges 13 on the supports 12, 12', holding means 26, 27 able to hold one edge of a poster 21, and control means for the movement of the conveyor 10, 11 as well as means for holding a poster 21, these means being designed in such a way as to cause unwinding of a selected poster 21 in the presentation area and to stop the conveyor 10, 11 when the poster 21 is completely unwound. This device has great flexibility in use with, however, a relatively simple structure. <IMAGE>
