An electrical bush connector of the type that is fixed to a cable at one end and provides a location for a contact pin at the other, is produced from sheet metal. The metal is blanked out and formed into a cylindrical form with the edges interlocked by dovetail sections (24a,b). One end of the bush has crimped connections (16) that grip the cable wires. Within the bush is located a multiple contact strip (40) that is formed with an internal curved profile and slots. The multiple segments provide good contact with a pin. ADVANTAGE - Ensures good contact with plug connections.
