A removable vehile seat is attached at its front edge to the vehicle floor (12), by a fixturee consisting of a mounting plate (3) fixed to each side of the seat. A cut-out (6) in a forward portion (5) of the mounting plate opens out forwards and downwards when the seat is in a horizontal position. The jaws (9,10) formed by the cut-out fix over a bolt (14) that is firmly attached to the vehicle. USE/ADVANTAGE - Easier installation and removal of seat.
