A video printer device is disclosed which is capable of printing out a high quality still image by subjecting image data obtained from a continuous video signal such as a television signal or the like, to noise processing and tone processing to improve the quality of the same. Upon subjecting said video signal to the noise and tone processings, a processed image can be displayed on a screen of a monitor (12), and checked and corrected on the same screen on real time.
