PURPOSE:To remove dust and to decompose ozone by the compact device by folding a sheet-shaped filter element carrying an ozone killer in the form of a zigzag, connecting the folded surfaces with a string and forming parts alternately opened in the opposite directions. CONSTITUTION:The sheet-shaped filter element 2 carrying an ozone killer is folder in the form of a zigzag, the formed conical folded surfaces 3 are connected by plural synthetic resin strings 4 linearly protruding in the height direction of the cone. Furthermore, plural spaces C having the parts 6 and 7 alternately opened in the opposite directions are formed between the folded surfaces 3 to form the filter. The air 8a to be treated is introduced into the space C1 from the open part 6, passed through the element 2 in direction of the arrow 8b, introduced into the adjacent space C2 and discharged from the open part 7 as purified air 9. Meantime, dust is separated, and ozone is decomposed. Since a filter for removing dust need not be provided, the entire device is miniaturized. |
