<p>PURPOSE:To prevent running out and scattering of sands by rainwater and wind by spreading sands at the lower layer and by using self-hardening and elastic jointing materials for the upper layer at works for laying paving blocks. CONSTITUTION:Silica sand and rubber powder are used as aggregates, polymer styreneacryl copolymer emulsion is used as polymer and portland cement is used as cement. At execution of work using jointing material comprising the abovementioned materials, the jointing material is sprinkled first of all and joints are filled therewith. The materials left over at the surface of blocks are scraped off. Cleaning agent is sprayed thereon and the cleaning is made with a polisher. Then water is poured thereon for finishing and bubbles are removed thereby. With the abovementioned processes, high-grade-looking joint lines can be composed.</p> |
