PURPOSE:To accurately manufacture a polishing jig of predetermined shape inexpensively further easily by pressing a polished workpiece to a resin material of plasticity generating the plastic deformation thereafter hardening the plastical ly deformed resin material. CONSTITUTION:A polished surface 2 of a workpiece 1 is pressed to a resin material 4 having plasticity, and this resin material 4 is plastically deformed. Next the plastically deformed resin material 4 is hardened, manufacturing a desired polishing jig 3 having a polishing surface 5 equal to a surface shape of the workpiece 1. Thereafter, in a condition that a lap agent 9, dispersing abrasive grains, is interposed between the workpiece 1 and the polishing jig 3, the polished surface 2 performs mirror polishing by relatively sliding the workpiece 1 to the polishing jig 3. |
