<p>The cover (1), made of elastically deformable plastic, has a hollow section (1b) at the bottom of which a slit (4) is provided which is inclined with respect to the general plane of the said cover. Because of this inclination, a forward edge (1c) of this slit (4) covers the other, rear edge (1d). A pressure applied to a portion (1e), in relief with respect to the forward face (3) of the cover (1), produces a deformation of the edge (1d) of the slit (4), which opens the latter. When the cover is used on a cup containing a drink, the user automatically applies this pressure by means of the upper lip when taking the cup to his mouth and this allows him to drink straight out of the said cup. <IMAGE></p> |
