Concrete floor for building - is supported by parallel tubular structural elements

The concrete floor of a building is constructed in the following way. The foundations (11) for the walls (13) are formed by layers of concrete laid below ground level. A number of tubular structural elements (21) are then placed parallel to each other between the walls. - The spaces between and around the tubular structural elements are then filled with concrete which is integrated with the wall foundations. The tubular elements provide a strong floor and reduce the amount of concrete required.
