The switch appts. comprises a sheet metal housing (1) containing at least one electrical device (4) incorporating a circuit breaker (20), with the cabling (5) positioned on the left and right of the electrical device (4). The lowermost part of the latter incorporates 3-phase vertical current collector rails, with horizontal conductors extending perpendicularly between the current collector rails and the cabling. The horizontal conductors are covered by an insulation layer, the top face of which has an applied earthing layer. Pref. a transformer for the phase currents and current transformers (16) are supported by the insulation layer and the earthing layer. ADVANTAGE - Increased compactness.
