The hinge for a door or flap at a carcass support wall has a pot-shaped pivoting half and an arm fixed by a support plate to the wall, together with two links coupling them together. One link (3) extends beyond the pin (5), attaching it to the hinge arm (6). The extended portion is coupled to the support plate (14), or to an intermediate plate fixed to it, either by a further link (36), or via an elongated hole, in which a pin on the plate works, so that on hinging the hinge arm both slides and pivots on the plate.
