PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for the correction of files by reading out and decoding the grammatical error messages to correct files and performing a comparing process between the uncorrected and corrected error messages. CONSTITUTION:When an initial error part 4 is idle, a grammatical error decoding part 7 reads a grammatical error message out of a medium error part 5 and decodes it for the correction of files. Then the part 7 reads out a grammatical error message out of a higher class error part 6 and decodes it for the correction of files when the part 5 is idle. The contents of a grammatical error storing part 2 are shifted to a grammatical error comparison part 9 after the correction of an error area. Then a grammatical error compiling part 8 performs a compiling operation to detect only grammatical errors and this compiling result is stored in the part 2. The part 9 compares repetitively the uncorrected and corrected grammatical error messages with each other until the error parts 4 - 6 become idle. Consequently, the batch correction of files is attained and the file correcting time is shortened.
