Dust content in liquids - determined by scanning filter with counter tubes

Parent patent covered a continuous measuring technique for dust content in gases purified through a filter which is then scanned by counter tubes either without a source for detection of radioactive matter or after through illuminantion by e.g. a beta source for determination of the quantity of the resultant deposit. The same technique is applied to liquids sucked through a moving supported, abrasion protected filter belt, the measuring chamber being either within the filter head or following it. Simple accurate method easily applied to on line processing/quality control and/or health physics monitoring.
