The heater for a vehicle cabin allows separate heat control for each side of the cabin. The heater consists of two fluid/air heat exchangers (1,2) with separate, controllable and parallel fluid supplies (3,4), arranged in a single housing, each exchanger being connected to at least one cabin air-outlet. The heat exchangers overlap in the fluid supply entry regions; the overlapping portion (9) being connected to a further cabin air-outlet. USE/ADVANTAGE - More heat is transferred to air to be passed through longer ducts in vehicle heat exchangers.
