Externally threaded plastomer component for HV switch - has annular slot receiving threaded metal ring with dovetail width

The plastomer component (1) has a machined annular slot (2) into which a split metal ring (3) carrying the external thread (4) is fitted. The plastomer component (1) has a retaining element (6) cooperating with the slit (5) in the metal ring (3), to secure the latter in the annular slot (2). Pref. the split metal ring (3) has a dovetail notch (7) in diametric opposition to the slit (5) allowing the ring (3) to be opened for filtering around the outside of the plastomer component (1).
