PURPOSE:To provide the titled recording material for forming a printing image even to a recording layer, constituted by providing a thermal recording layer to the single surface of a base material while providing thermal transfer recording paper having alkyl gallate and microcapsules having a solution of said alkyl gallate encapsulated therein applied thereto and image receiving paper provided with an Fe-salt by coating to the other surface thereof in a combined form. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording layer is formed to the single surface of a base material by coating a heat-sensitive coating solution and, to the other surface thereof, alkyl gallate having a m.p. of 80-160 deg.C (e.g., lauryl gallate), microcapsules each, having a solution prepared by dissolving said alkyl gallate in a solvent such as unvolatile oil, encapsulated therein and waxes are applied by a hot melt coater. The obtained thermal transfer recording paper is combined with image receiving paper, to which an aqueous dispersion of a Fe-salt (e.g., iron stearate) is applied by a Mayer bar to obtain the objective product. |
