摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To simplify a manufacturing process and to improve productivity by carrying out electrolytic refining while providing one or more separation plates made of copper between an anode crude copper and a cathode plate and dividing an electrolyte into plural electrolytic cells. CONSTITUTION:An electrolytic cell 1 consisting of an electrolyte-containing cylindrical and contractive tube 7 made of silicone rubber is placed in a thermostatic chamber 1a, and a cylindrical anode crude copper 3 and a discoid cathode Ti plate 4a connected, respectively, to an electric current control device 2 are provided to both ends within the above tube 7. Two discoid copper separation plates 8, 9 are provided between the crude copper 3 and the Ti plate 4a mentioned above and these are tightly covered with the tube 7, by which respective electrolytic cells in the tube 7 are perfectly divided. By filling the above electric cells with electrolytes 5a-5c, respectively, and using the crude copper 3 (about 99.6% purity), the desired copper with >=99.999% purity can be easily obtained by means of a single electrolytic refining.</p>
