<p>PURPOSE:To prolong the service life of the coil by lowering the maximum temp. of a shape memory alloy coil and to obviate dew condensation in a case by elevating the temp. in the case by a heating element for the coil. CONSTITUTION:A heating mechanism 9 is provided in a desiccant container 5, and the shape memory alloy 12 causing a change of state by the temp. change is heated by a heating mechanism consisting of a heating element 18 fixed to the outer surface of the container 5 and a heat-conductor plate 19 fixed to the element 18. The two heating mechanisms are simultaneously turned on and off by a timer 2. An internal shutter 15 and an external shutter 16 are driven by a change in the state of the alloy 12. By this constitution, the heating temp. of the element 18 for the alloy 12 is made lower than that of the element 9 for heating the desiccant, and the maximum temp. of the alloy 12 can be lowered. Consequently, the service life of the alloy 12 is prolonged, and dew condensation in the case 1 is obviated.</p> |
