PURPOSE: To maintain uniform resolution by incorporating a nonpolar liq. dispersive medium, an electric charge controlling agent and resin particles made of a mixture of a specified multiblock copolymer with a thermoplastic resin into a liq. electrostatic developer. CONSTITUTION: This liq. electrostatic developer contains thermoplastic resin particles of <=10μm area average particle size made of a mixture of 80-95wt.% thermoplastic resin with 20-5wt.% multiblock copolymer represented by the formula X-Y(Z)n , a nonpolar liq. having a kauri-butanol value of <=30 and a compd. as an electric charge controlling agent. In the formula, X is polymerized arom. vinyl, Y is polymerized diene, Z is polymerized arom. vinyl in the case of n=1 and Z is a polymerized arom. vinyl-polymerized diene block copolymer in the case of 2<=n<=10. This developer can maintain uniform resolution.
