The oil-collecting funnel (1) is fastened to the bottom end of the rail (3) by means of a clamp (2) and serves to collect the lubricating oil running down the rail (3). It is provided with a cover hood (5) which corresponds to the cross-section of the rail (3) and in the top area is at a small distance from the rail (3) all round the same and thus forms a gap which serves as "oil inlet" for the oil running down the rail (3). The oil-collecting funnel (1) has a base sloping away from the rail (3). Provided at the deepest point of the base is an opening (6) to which a tube (7) can be connected which leads into a container for collecting the oil flowing off. It is essential here that the oil-resistant seal (4) in the sloping base of the oil-collecting funnel (1) fills the entire intermediate space between the base recess of the oil-collecting funnel and the surface of the rail (3). The oil-collecting funnel is made of oil-resistant and impact-proof plastic. <IMAGE>
