<p>PURPOSE: To reduce a load added to an end surface which is supported by means of an optical fiber cable connector by providing a positioning means for restricting the shaft direction operation of an inner side sleeve inside an external side sleeve, giving a bearing surface which is abutted on a biasing means and projecting one end of a supporting material from the external side sleeve. CONSTITUTION: The inner side sleeve 5, the positioning means 6 which is fixed inside the external side sleeve 3 and restricts the shaft direction operation of theh inner side sleeve 5 and the supporting material 8 for receiving an end part 9 which supports the optical fiber 11 of a cable 2. The supporting material 8 is slid inside the external side sleeve 3, its one end 8a is biased by a biasing means 16 which executes activation as against the positioning means 6 so as to be projected from one end 3a of the external side sleeve 3 and cooperative parts 12-14 where the other end 8b of the supporting material 8 and one end 5a of the biasing means 5 enable the correlative shaft direction operation between the two are provided. Thus, loading added to the end surface of the end part which is supported by the optical fiber cable connector is reduced and the deterioration of optical performance is prevented.</p> |
