<p>PURPOSE:To improve the traveling speed of a tape in a fast-forwarding mode or rewinding mode and to decrease the damage inflicted on the tape by moving a supporting member in the fast-forwarding mode or rewinding mode of the tape and reducing the winding angle of the tape to a tape guide pin. CONSTITUTION:A tape guide pin 20 is supported with a supporting member 21 positioned in a take-up side reel stand 25 side rather than a press-contacting position between a capstan shaft 7 and a pinch roller 10 in a tape pass. Moving means 21 and 26 are provided to move this supporting member 21 to a mechanical chassis. Then, by moving the moving means 21 and 26, the winding angle of a tape 22 to the tape guide pin is reduced in the case of the fast-forwarding mode or rewinding mode of the tape 22. Accordingly, while the tape is loaded, the traveling speed of the tape can be improved in the fast-forwarding mode or rewinding mode. Thus, the time required for fast-forwarding or rewinding can be shortened and the damage inflicted on the tape can be decreased.</p> |
