<p>PURPOSE:To form an assembly line of good working efficiency by composing an assembly work at a 1st assembly station capable of backing up properly at a 2nd assembly station. CONSTITUTION:A part subjected to a sub-assembly on sub-assembly lines 7A, 7B is carried into a 1st assembly station 5 and the part selected to be assembled at the 1st assembly station 5 is assembled to the work which is fed to the 1st assembly station 5 by a work transfer line 1 with part feed control means 9A, 9B based on a work or part information. On the other had, the part selected to be assembled at a 2nd assembly station 6 by the part feeding control means 9A, 9B is carried out of the 1st assembly station 5 from sub-assembly lines 7A, 7B, transferred onto a part transfer means 11 by part transfer means 10A, 10B and transferred to a 2nd assembly station 6. The part thereof is then assembled to a work transferred to the 2nd assembly station 6 by the work transfer line 1.</p> |
