<p>PURPOSE:To inhibit the change in flowability of an ink on a printing plate by using an acrylate polymer as an adhesive in capsule ink for flexo printing plate contg. microcapsules, the adhesive, and an ink medium. CONSTITUTION:A chromogen material comprising e.g. a combination of an electron donating color former and an electron accepting developer or a combination of a metal salt and a ligand compd. is microcapsuled by, e.g. coacervation, or interfacial polymn. The resulting microcapsules, an adhesive made up of a polymer comprising a (meth)acrylate alone or mainly comprising the (meth) acrylate, and an ink medium (e.g. ethanol) are compounded as the main components to give a flexo type capsule ink compsn. The resulting compsn., when used in printing, shows a reduced change in flowability on a printing plate, preventing the piling of the capsule ink on the plate, and thus a stable continuous printing is made possible.</p> |
