PURPOSE:To improve mechanical and elecrostatical properties by containing methyl acrylate and ethyl acrylate in at least one layer of the photographic layers constituting a photographic material consisting of hydrophilic colloids. CONSTITUTION:An emulsified copolymer consisting of 40-10pts. methyl acrylate and 60-90pts. ethyl acrylate is contained in at least one layer of the photographic layeres costituting a photographic material consisting of hydrophilic colloids such as lime-treated gelatin, acid-treated gelatin, modified gelatin, gelatin deriv., whereby the photographic material is prepd. The amt. of the acrylate copolymer to be used is generally 10-100wt% basing on the weight of the hydrophilic protective colloids, more preferably 20-50wt%. It is equally well to compound a coupler or the like that forms colors by coupling with an oxidized product of a color developing agent such as paraphenylene diamine deriv. in the hydrophilic colloidal layer. |
