PURPOSE:To efficiently inhibit a specific picture from being reproduced by providing the image forming device with a means for discriminating the specific picture. CONSTITUTION:In a feature extraction circuit 103, the feature of an input pic ture is extracted according to an algorithm set in advance, and a feature extrac tion processing is performed. The feature data and the picture which is inhibited from being copied are processed according the same algorithm; and a deciding circuit 105 compares them with previously extracted feature data 104 and examines them; when the specific picture is judged to exsit, a deciding signal becomes 'H'(High). A signal outputted to a laser driver 212 is always 'H', and a picture painted out with developing color toner is outputted; thereby the specific picture is inhibited from being copied. Also, only a specific area in the picture can be painted out by inputting the coordinate signal of a coordi nate signal generating circuit 106 to the deciding means 105. Thus, the specific picture can be inhibited from being reproduced. |
