<p>Introducing a sol. cpd. (I) (e.g. a photochromic cpd. such as mercury dithizonate) into a polymer film (e.g. polyvinylbutyral, for use as a glazing interlayer) by dipping the plasticised film into a soln. of (I) which also contains a plasticiser identical to that in the film (e.g. triethylene glycol diethylbutyrate, dioctylphthalate, butyl benzylphthalate, tricresylphosphate or diisobutyl phthalate) (I) may be e.g. (II) which is described as a novel cpd.</p> |
