<p>A contraceptive anti-human sperm serum for prepg. contraceptive pessaries which immobilises sperm and prevents them reaching the upper parts of the genital tract. The dangers, uncertainty and occasional psychic distress associated with chemical and mechanical contraceptives are avoided. Serum may be prepd. from rabbits horses or other animals which are injected with sperm from young healthy men which is diluted with sterile physiological saline. The collected serum is preserved e.g. by freeze-drying, and powder or tablet forms are enveloped in cocoa butter melting at body temp. to form pessaries.</p> |
