PURPOSE: To prevent stoppage of breathing and allow a natural or controlled respiration by including an exhausting tube which has one end arranged to be inserted together with a mask and other end positioned below a patient for extracting fluid from a mask region by a siphon mode or for extracting such fluid by suction which is connected to a suction unit. CONSTITUTION: An exhausting tube 42 having a small diameter is equipped with a two-necked end 43 fixed partially surrounding collar 27 to allow extraction of fluid from an outer surrounding region of a mask or fluid flown backward. Furthermore, the exhausting tube 42 must be positioned below a patient, to allow extraction of fluid by a siphon action or a suction action with a connected suction unit. Any foreign matter which moves from the esophagus to the mask, can be removed by exhausting tubes 40, 42 and prevented from entering into the pharynx. |
