<p>PURPOSE:To obtain stable tape transport compatibility regardless of the thickness of a tape by installing tape rum position correction guide on the tape path from the supply reel in cassette to a cylinder, and changing the tape path. CONSTITUTION:The tape run position correction guide 6 is clisposed on the travel path of the tape 1 extending from the supply reel in the cassette 2 to the cylinder 19 and put in the tape path when a thin tape travels to correct its travel position, but put off the tape travel path when a thick tape travels. Namely, when a cassette 2 which contains a thin tape 1 is loaded, a tape thick ness detecting means detects the tape thickness and a solenoid 17 is energized to make the tape run position correction guide 6 which is implanted in the tip surface of a lever 7 about on the tape 1. Consequently, the excellent compati bility between the thick and thin tapes 1 is obtained.</p> |
