PURPOSE:To inhibit the temperature increase of an ink to assure an invariably stable ink drip discharge function by a method wherein a substrate and a cooling heat-radiation part for cooling the substrate are integrally formed using a good heat conductor, and an ink in a liquid path is cooled through the cooling heat-radiation part. CONSTITUTION:On the rear side of a heat conductor substrate 40, a cooling heat-radiation part (heat sink part) 41 is provided integrally with the substrate 40. The heat sink part 41 is provided with a plurality of fins 41A so as to easily radiate heat. A temperature control circuit 43 controls not only the ON/ OFF operation of a fan 44 in accordance with a detection signal from a temperature sensor 42 loaded on the rear side but also the ON/OFF operation of a heater 45 provided on the substrate 40. The cooling heat-radiation part for cooling the substrate is made of a good heat conductor integrally with the substrate, and an ink in a liquid path is cooled through the cooling heat- radiation part. In this manner, the temperature increase of the ink is inhibited, and a high-quality recording resulting from an invariable stable ink discharge can be conducted with a simple construction. |
